Adult Faith Formation

The Church's catechetical mission aims to help the faithful of all ages to grow in both human and Christian maturity,
enriching the whole of life with the leaven of the Gospel.

Faith formation helps adults make "a conscious and firm decision to live the gift and choice of faith through membership in the Christian community."

Pilgrim People

Our current study series 5 session study is entitled “Pilgrim People” and incorporates an introductory session and four lessons.

February 25--March 25, 2019
Monday evenings: 7:30 – 9:00 PM
Tuesday mornings: 10:00 – 11:30 AM
Meetings take place in Room 101- 102 of the O'Connor Center
God's people have always been sojourners, pilgrims on a journey, open to God's call and direction.  This study explores the major events and characters of the Bible that exemplify God's call to be pilgrims who are 'looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and maker is God' (Heb 11:10).  Among the biblical pilgrims and sojourners encountered in the study are Abraham and Sarah, Moses and the people of the Exodus, the Jews of the Babylonian exile, the Holy Family and Christ's first disciples.  The commentary is written with full citations of the appropriate biblical texts and provides insight into the biblical characters, historical settings and modern applications.
There is a $30 materials fee which is to be paid the 1st day of class. Cash or check accepted.

Women, would you like to have a better understanding of your faith and learn more about God? Are you stretched and would like a way to refuel and be refreshed while making authentic connections with others? If so, we invite you to consider joining Walking With Purpose (WWP), a Catholic bible study for women. Through personal study and small group discussions, WWP helps link our everyday challenges to solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Church.

WWP is offered on Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:30 AM and Saturdays from 9:30-11:00 AM, from early October through late April. We do not meet during holidays or school vacations.
