Baptisms are held in the Chapel:
Saturdays between 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sundays between 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Helpful Information
• Normally there are to be two Roman Catholic godparents who have received baptism, first communion and confirmation. However, when this is not possible, at least one godparent must be a Roman Catholic. In this case, the other godparent must be a Baptized Christian. Godparents not from this parish should provide a sponsor certificate to St. Catherine's.

• If your family is registered with another parish, the permission of the pastor of other parish is required for baptism to take place at St. Catherine's.

• Parents are required to attend one of the Pre-Baptismal preparation sessions held in the Rectory on the third Saturday of each month at 1:30 p.m.

• Parents should schedule a brief meeting at a mutually convenient time (i.e. following a Sunday Mass) with one of the priests or deacons prior to attending the pre-baptismal preparation class. The following questions will be addressed during this informal discussion:

• Do you, as parents of young children, feel welcome in the parish?

• Do you feel you are adequately informed regarding parish activities?

• In what ways would you like to contribute to, and participate in, the life of parish?

• Are you willing to commit yourselves to the ongoing religious education of your children, and to encourage them to participate in the Church's sacramental life?
